Ingrid nurtured her eye for style in her native Haiti, where fabric, fashion, and bold colors combined to create the country's distinct flair. Upon moving to New York to start her handmade jewelry and accessories line, IJ by Ingrid Joseph, she interweaved these elements with an American aesthetic.

Says Ingrid of her line. "All my creations reflect a sense of balance I feel is important not only in design but in life too." As wife, mother of two boys with a full-time job around which she studies and runs a business, Ingrid is well aware of the importance of finding the right equilibrium. "They are all a priority," Ingrid says, “so my days are structured and planned to the tee."

"My passion for fashion was honed since the age of 12," Ingrid expounds. "Growing up in Haiti, style and colors were everywhere. I've always nurtured a dream to open my own handmade jewelry company." IJ's artisanal craftsmanship is evident in the quality of all their products. While IJ utilizes trained jewelry makers with specialized equipment to manufacture rings, necklaces, and earrings, all IJ's handbags are individually made, with care and expertise sewn into every stitch.
